Chanel's No. 5 walks hand in hand with the feminine. It has a powdery flower bouquet in the iconic flacon. No 5 is a mythic and timeless perfume, which have been a favourite with many, ever since it launched. Gabrielle Chanel asked Ernest Beaux create a perfume, that smells like a woman, is rare and powerful. Ernest suggested a visionary composition with an unique application of aldehydes. Different variants was presented to Coco, and she loved number 5 - and thats why its called No. 5. She gave the new perfumes flacon a radical design and decked it with a white sticker and a faceted hood.

In 1986 No. 5 was reinterpreted by Jaques Polge, that made the iconic perfume even fuller in its Eau De Parfum form.
