Daylight (Sylvester Stallone)

A car accidentally crashes into a truck filled with toxic waste. The truck explodes, blocking both entrances to the Holland Tunnel connecting New York and New Jersey. Now it is up to Kit Latura—the disgraced former chief of the city's emergency services—to get the survivors out. But can he make it in time?

The survivors trapped in the tunnel have exactly three hours left. Either the oxygen runs out, or the Hudson River rushes in.

In this action-packed film filled with incredible stunts, Sylvester Stallone plays the only man capable of saving the survivors in the tunnel—and perhaps redeeming the mistakes of his past. Viggo Mortensen appears as the self-styled rescuer and mountaineer Roy Nord, while Amy Brenneman plays the young Madelyne Thompson.
