Marc Jacobs was born April 9, 1963 in New York City. He went from being warehouse boy and now Marc Jacobs is one of today's most successful International fashion designers. Like no other he understands how to combine a disparate array of fashion, influences, inspirations and worlds into one style. In 1983 he became the youngest designer ever to receive an award from "The Council Of Fashion Designers Of America" - and has countless times been honored for his designs. Marc Jacobs has his own label and since 1997 he has also designed the prêt-à-porter collection for the luxury label Louis Vuitton.
