DreamWorks Animation has certainly created this computer-animated adventure, which takes place in a land far away, where a grim dictator rules. He's a vinegary dwarf who can't stand joy and has banned all adventures in the land. But there are three in his kingdom who will stand in his way: the fearless and smelly troll Shrek, his faithful talkative donkey and the tough-skinned princess Fiona, whom the ruler has set his sights on.

Shrek 2

The action follows immediately after the ending of the first Shrek film. Shrek and Fiona return home from their honeymoon and find a letter from Fiona's parents, who want to invite them to dinner. They didn't know yet that their daughter is now a troll! When a fairy discovers that Shrek and Fiona are married, she reminds the king that they once agreed that Fiona would marry her son, Prince Charming. The king hires the cat Puss-In-Boots to get Shrek out of the way.

Shrek the Third

The old king of Far, Far Away is dead. The closest heir is your daughter Princess Fiona and her husband Shrek, who are green trolls! Court etiquette is not Shrek's style, but luckily the king revealed on his deathbed that there is another heir, a distant relative, Prince Artie, so instead of assuming responsibility for the kingdom, Shrek embarks on a long journey with Donkey and Puss in Boots to find Prince Artie.

Shrek Forever After

What should a troll give himself up to, when he has fought against an evil dragon, saved a beautiful princess and the kingdom of the in-laws? Yes, if you watch Shrek, you suddenly end up as a family man. What happened to the troll's roar? Shrek misses the old days, when he felt like a real troll, and is therefore fooled into signing a pact with the infiltrating Rumleshaft. Suddenly, Shrek finds himself in a twisted version of the Kingdom of Far, Far Away
