After the adventures in The Hitman's Bodyguard, bodyguard Michael Bryce has officially taken a leave of absence in an attempt to take a break from guns and violence. But assassin Darius Kincaid's wife Sonia has other plans for Michael. Darius has disappeared, and Sonia needs the bodyguard's help to find him. Before long, Michael, Darius and Sonia are entangled in an international conspiracy, and the three of them are now the only ones standing between Europe and a vengeful maniac.

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are back in the lead roles, while this time they are joined for real by Salma Hayek in the role of the assassin's wife.
